Download Flipkart Lower Deduction Certificate (LDC) for FY 2021-22

Procedure to download Flipkart Lower Deduction Certificate for the financial year 2021-22

Flipkart has obtained Lower Deduction Certificate (LDC) for the financial year 2021-22. All the Flipkart sellers are supposed to deduct and pay TDS on the rates mentioned under Lower Deduction Certificate (LDC).

Steps to download Flipkart Lower Deduction Certificate (LDC) for FY 2021-22

Step 1:

Visit the TRACES website. Login as “Deductor” using the unique User ID, password, and TAN of the deductor.

If you are new with Flipkart and this is the first time for you as a deductor, you can register as a new user as a deductor on the TRACES website.

Step 2:

Navigate to “Download 197, 206C (9) Certificate” from the Download Menu option, as shown in the image.

Step 3:

Enter the following details in order to proceed with downloading Lower Deduction Certificate LDC for the financial year 2021-22.

(a) Select the financial year as 2021-22

(b) Enter the PAN of deductee i.e., PAN of Flipkart [you can refer the Flipkart Commission Invoice in order to get the detail regarding the Flipkart PAN]

Step 4:

Click on the Download/ View Certificate to get the Flipkart Lower Deduction Certificate (LDC) for FY 2021-22

Following details will be displayed regarding the Flipkart LDC:

(a)Certificate Number
(b)Section Code
(c)Deductee PAN (Flipkart)
(d)Valid from date
(e)Valid to date
(f)Certificate download hyperlink
(g)Remarks if any

Flipkart sellers are required to refer to the TDS section, Limits, Rates, Date from, and To for the deduction of TDS for the financial year 2021-22.

Any excess deducted by the deductor will not be reimbursed by Flipkart to the sellers. If the seller is selling on other e-commerce portals also, they will have to deduct the TDS at the normal rates as prescribed under the Income Tax Act for the relevant assessment year.

Note:

The TDS for the previous financial year can be reimbursed by Flipkart only if the sellers have made the claim on or before the 30th of September of the following year.
